The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
